Truly a Haven! This 2nd row cottage is directly across from the rolling entrance to the beach. Outside relax on the front deck while listening to the waves. Or take a walk down the rolling entrance to the beach right out front and skip stones or go for a swim. And out back create the most amazing meals on the propane BBQ OR Charcoal Grill. In the evening, enjoy the fire pit with s’mores under the stars.  Life can’t get better than that!
Inside all will gather in the Great Room with floor to ceiling windows which capture views of the lake. Your home away from home anytime of year!
And no need to leave your dog behind—we know pets are family!

Everyone will gather in the Great Room to play games, help make breakfast, tell tall tales in front of the fireplace! Lots of seating space so all can congregate. 

Fully equipped open concept kitchen is awesome. Has everything you need to create your family’s favorite meals…And everyone can help as it’s wide open! 6 can dine on the table and seating for 4 more on the island.
There’s lots of seating in the living area and a large screen TV for rainy nights when it’s time for popcorn and a movie!

The loft has a cozy reading nook – great if you need some quiet time on a leather couch with your favorite book.

Relax on the front deck and listen to the waves – there are nice chairs and a table with umbrella here
Out Back there is a nice deck complete with Propane BBQ OR Charcoal Grill. Share your favorite cottage drinks while smoking some salmon filets and searing a steak!

There is a large yard great for playing games all afternoon. And at night enjoy the firepit as you share ghost stories and smore’s under the stars at night.

NOTE: 2023 there was very little beach I don’t expect it to be any different this year due to the high lake levels.  Directly across from the rolling entrance to the beach. There is also another public access beach to the north at the end of the lane. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It’s fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it’s not weedy or slimy at all.

An excellent option for three couples or a small family, the cottage sleeps up to six in three bedrooms. 
Downstairs there is a Queen bedroom with sliding doors to the deck. 
Upstairs there are 2 more good sized bedrooms with Queen beds

EXTRA’S at the cottage include a TV with cable and Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning, gas fireplace, outdoor kitchen with wet bar, propane and charcoal BBQ’s, firepit. A ramp to help those with mobility issues

Both Grand Bend and Bayfield are within a 10-minute drive of the cottage, making it easy to stroll Bayfield’s quaint Main Street (and catch one of the world’s best sunsets at Pioneer Park) or take to the water in Grand Bend with its sandy, lifeguarded beaches and watersport rentals. Sample both Grand Bend’s nightlife and Bayfield’s boutique shopping, and visit the farmers markets in either town to pick up local ingredients for dinner. Or let someone else do the cooking—both towns have plenty of options, from fine dining to casual pub fare.
