Located at the end of quiet lane, this Lake Huron cottage is quite private with spectacular views of the lake on your very own Lookout viewing deck. You just gotta see it!
New kitchen and flooring in the main living area. This property is truly special!
NOTE: There is always beach on the new retaining wall but not beach the way we remember as kids.
Relax in front of a fire in the Great Room with cathedral ceilings, skylight, leather furniture and wood burning fireplace.
Cook up your dream dinners in the open concept kitchen with island so all can have a hand. New kitchen and flooring in the main living area.
4 sets of 15 private stairs lead down to a beach on top of a retaining wall where there is a beach hut with beach chairs and kayak for your use. Retractable stairs allow you to go from the beach on wall to the water. The water can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Even if it’s stoney…it’s fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it’s not weedy or slimy at all.
OR Challenge your family to a game of croquette or horseshoes. Gather around the firepit which is quite covered even when its windy which makes it nice anytime of the year!
Enjoy a lazy evening in the screened porch with ambient lighting and an extra drink fridge. Handy when you need a drink while playing a card game with that person who like to cheat!

EXPLORE GRANDBEND AND BAYFIELD
Basically across the street is the WhiteSquirrel GolfClub (used to be called BayView it’s one of the nicest in the area!). They’ve built a new clubhouse and often have live entertainment. Both Grand Bend and Bayfield are within a 10-minute drive of the cottage, making it easy to stroll Bayfield’s quaint Main Street (and catch one of the world’s best sunsets at Pioneer Park) or take to the water in Grand Bend with its sandy, lifeguarded beaches and watersport rentals. Sample both Grand Bend’s nightlife and Bayfield’s boutique shopping, and visit the farmers markets in either town to pick up local ingredients for dinner. Or let someone else do the cooking—both towns have plenty of options, from fine dining to casual pub fare.
