NOTE: Approx. 80 stairs down to the beach. 2024 there is lots of beach. There is a sea wall here and there will be beach on the wall. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It’s fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it’s not weedy or slimy at all.

EXPLORE GRANDBEND AND BAYFIELD
Basically across the street is the White Squirrel Golf Club -they’ve built a new clubhouse and often have live entertainment.
Both Grand Bend and Bayfield are within a 10-minute drive of the cottage, making it easy to stroll Bayfield’s quaint Main Street or take to the water in Grand Bend with its sandy, life-guarded beaches and water sport rentals. Sample both Grand Bend’s nightlife and Bayfield’s boutique shopping, or let someone else do the cooking—both towns have plenty of options, from fine dining to casual pub fare.
Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl’s getaway weekend—we’re happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.
With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.

All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25, photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 10 (8 adults) violation will result in removal without refund. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections) there are two cameras outside monitoring the parking area and entrance door.
Max 1 Pet allowed but must sign pet addendum
Parking is limited to 4 vehicles.
