WIFI | Gas Fireplace | Lake View | 2 Dogs Allowed
The pine trees frame it. The lake fills the view beyond them. A short walk down the street and you're standing on the shore of one of the top 10 sunsets in the world. Bayfield — the Hallmark Village — is five minutes away.
INSIDE
Sunlight finds the kitchen before anyone else does. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area is built for everyone to land in the same space — coffee first, then the big breakfast, then eventually someone opens the card games and nobody remembers what time it is. Oversized windows keep the lake in the frame from across the dining table, which makes every meal feel like it was planned that way.
The gas fireplace takes the cool nights. A window AC unit handles the warm ones. (Not central air — just so you know. It handles it.) The smart TV is there when you want it, but with that view, most guests forget about it.
SLEEPING SPACES:
With three comfy bedrooms, everyone has room to spread out and rest easy.
Bedroom 1 – Double Bed
Bedroom 2 – Double Bed
Bedroom 3 – Double Bed
There are 2 bathrooms, both are 3 Piece with a Shower
NOTE: Playpen/Highchair available
OUTSIDE:
Step out to the backyard patio and the view opens up — dining for six, lounge seating, and a row of Adirondack chairs angled exactly right. Your morning coffee is better out here. Not because of the mug. Because of what's in front of you.
The front patio has a propane BBQ for grilling anything that sounds good. The firepit is tucked to the side for the part of the evening when the s'mores are done and nobody's ready to call it a night.
NO LAKE ACCESS: Due to erosion damage from the high winds and lake levels, there is no longer access to the water here. But the views are amazing and it is so relaxing napping to the sound of waves.
The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

ABOUT YOUR HOST
I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. It's my absolute privilege to be the one to provide families and friends a special place to gather and create memories while exploring an area so near and dear to me.
