NOTE: Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It’s fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it’s not weedy or slimy at all.
